His administration has alleged that the Ivy League school has violated civil rights laws through DEI policies and responses to campus protests.
President Donald Trump suggested on Monday that his administration may transfer $3 billion in federal grants away from Harvard University and award them to trade schools around the nation.
The president stated, “What a great investment that would be for the USA, and so badly needed!!!”
President Trump later stated that his administration was still list waiting for Harvard’s list of foreign students attending the university after the Department of Homeland Security revoked its Student and Exchange Visitor Program certification. A federal judge quickly paused the administration’s halt of the visa program last week.
The president wrote, “Harvard is very slow in the presentation of these documents, and probably for good reason! The best thing Harvard has going for it is that they have shopped around and found the absolute best Judge (for them!) – But have no fear, the Government will, in the end, WIN.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for President Trump as he seeks to facilitate employment and production in the U.S.
- For federal judges to be discerning and uphold the law and the Constitution as they hear and decide cases challenging the president’s actions.
- For Education Secretary Linda McMahon as she seeks to implement safeguards against antisemitism on campuses and, separately, protect female student-athletes.
